What do you love most about the hairdressing industry?
What I love most about the hair industry is the deep connection and endless creativity it
allows me to explore. It’s not just about styling hair for me; it’s about building genuine
relationships with my clients, expressing my artistic vision to enhance their beauty and
confidence, and ultimately, bringing smiles to their faces with every transformation.

Hobbies, interests and passion outside of Hairdressing?
Outside of hairdressing, I have a diverse range of hobbies, interests, and passions that enrich
my life. I love to travel, exploring new destinations and immersing myself in different
cultures. Cooking is passion of mine; I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and flavours,
creating delicious meals to share with friends and family. In quieter moments, you’ll often
find me with a crochet hook in hand, working on intricate projects that allow me to unwind
and express my creativity. And of course, I’m an avid reader, always eager to dive into a good
book and lose myself in captivating stories and new ideas. These pursuits outside of
hairdressing bring balance to my life and inspire me in unexpected ways.

If you could do any celebrities hair who would it be and why?
If I could style any celebrity’s hair, it would be Maggie Smith. Her timeless elegance and
grace make her an icon in the entertainment industry. Styling her hair would be an honor, as I
admire her talent, sophistication, and the classic beauty she embodies. Creating a look for her
would be a delightful opportunity to establish a connection and share laughter while bringing
out her natural charm with a touch of modern flair. Moreover, I imagine the stories she could
share about her illustrious career would add an extra layer of fascination to the experience.

What and why are you studying?
I’m studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Chemical Engineering Systems. In the future, I hope to work as a chemical engineer in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Alongside my core studies, I’ve also taken subjects in French and wine tasting – both of which I’ve really enjoyed.

Hobbies, interests and passions outside of Salon life?

I’m passionate about music and play the flute in an orchestra. I also enjoy embroidery, reading, and travelling – Japan is my favourite country to explore.

What and why are you studying?

I am currently studying to become a primary school teacher. I want to become a teacher because I believe that we have the capacity to achieve a brighter future when encouraging younger generations to reach their full potential. I became interested in education through an inspiring teacher of my own in year 6.

Hobbies, interests and passions outside of Salon life?

I enjoy exploring different realities through reading and audiobooks, which expose me to diverse perspectives and stories. Dance, from ballet to hip-hop, has been a key part of my life, blending creative expression with discipline. I also have a deep appreciation for music, which often communicates emotions words cannot. Additionally, I’m passionate about travel and eager to experience new cultures and broaden my worldview.

What and why are you studying?

I am studying Occupational Therapy at Deakin University in Geelong because I want to help people improve their independence and overall well-being. I’m passionate about health and enjoy working with others to support their physical, emotional, and social needs.

Hobbies, interests and passions outside of Salon life?

I really cherish the moments I get to spend with my friends and family when they’re not tied up with work or university. It’s always refreshing to connect with them outside of our busy schedules and enjoy each other’s company. I also prioritize staying active, whether it’s through exercise or just being outdoors, as it helps me maintain a healthy balance between work, study, and relaxation.
